Four rounds of the 2008 MSR/ANSWER RACING Northeast Classic Motocross series featured an added day of racing. The warm-up race gives riders a chance to race the same course with a little less pressure than they would experience on an actual Northeast Classic race day. The final round of the series was hosted by the Fritz family at the picturesque Hurricane Hills Sports Center.

Suzuki pilot, Kevin Tompkins, Todd Maksymiw, Kevin Hicks, Gary Smith and Luke Palonicola led the start of the opening moto of the combined gate of Senior and Junior Mini divisions.  Tomkins quickly left the field behind and started the second lap with a nine second lead. Maksymiw, Palonicola, Hicks and Kyle Dillin rounded out the top five. Tompkins increased his advantage to 12-seconds by the start of the following lap. Palonicola passed Maksymiw taking second. Maksymiw was displaced to third. Hicks was a solid fourth and Schae Thomas passed Dillin taking fifth. Tomkins lead increased to a whopping 20-seconds at the start of lap four. Thomas caught and passed Hicks taking fourth. Hicks was relegated to fifth. Tomkins lead was an astonishing 28-seconds with a lap and a half to go and increased to an astounding 34-seconds at the checkers. Palonicola, Maksymiw, Thomas and Dillin closed out the top five.

Dillin, Maksymiw and Hicks led the start of the final moto of the combined gate of Senior and Junior Mini classes. By the fourth turn the top five were; Dillin, Hicks, Tompkins, Koda Smith and Palonicola. Tompkins was again on the move, quickly passing riders in route to the front. Just after the start of lap two, Tompkins passed Hicks taking second on the second tier of the Hurricane Hills double elevator. Tompkins quickly caught and passed Dillin to secure the point position. Dillin was relegated to second. Tompkins again pulled away but to no where near the extent of the first moto, taking the checkers 12-seconds ahead of Dillin. Hicks, Thomas and Palonicola rounded out the top five.

Dillin led the start of the opening Mid Mini moto and was trailed by Zachary Rice, Hicks, Maksymiw and Danny Colachino. Dillin quickly set the pace to beat and started the second lap with a six second advantage. Hicks secured second after making the pass on Maksymiw. Rice was relegated to third. Dillin increased his lead to ten seconds by the start of lap three as the top five began to spread out. Maksymiw and Rice went down in a heap in the big sweeper by the start, handing Hicks second. Rice remounted third and Maksymiw fourth. Colachino was alone in fifth. Dillin took the checkers with a whopping 25-second lead. Hicks, Rice, Maksymiw and Colachino completed the top five.

Tomkins, Maksymiw, Rice and Hicks led the start of the final Mid Mini moto. Tompkins pulled away, starting the second lap ten seconds ahead of Maksymiw. Hicks and Dillin both advanced after making passes on Rice. Rice was relegated to fifth. Dillin closed the gap on Hicks and made the pass for third upon exiting the rhythm section just before the white flag. Hicks dropped to fourth. Tompkins got the win with a 20-second lead. Maksymiw, Dillin, Hicks and Rice closed out the top five.

Dillin (1-3) topped the podium. Maksymiw (4-2) took runner-up and Hicks (2-4) closed out the rostrum.
